Geez, save some pollen for the other bees....This location appears to be destined to become "Pikes Peak Heights" affordable housing unless we fight it. I have documented over 750 species of animals (71 birds alone) over the past 7 years. It is degraded prairie, but West Fork of Sand Creek enters Sand Creek here. Colorado Springs Utilities plans a major project that will widen the West Fork, greatly damaging the riparian corridor.
