North section - 5/30/2024
Thursday, 8:30-9:50 am. no newts. Last survey of the season. 2.432 dead newts in total.
Coverage: Jones trailhead to the second stop sign. I walked alone.
Other roadkill: a few beetles and bees. Saw another live deer by the road, on the slope
Traffic - 23 cars, 11 trucks, 0 motorcycles, 1 bike, 7 pedestrians, 15 parked cars (2 at the Miller parking lot).
