Another worthy project to help all parrots and especially for our black cockatoos. What they are eating with loss of their usual foraging habitat to ensure their survival is requiring adaption to new food sources.

About
The Hungry Parrots Project (#HungryParrots) is a project investigating the diet and foraging behaviour of wild parrots in Australia, with plans to expand to the rest of the world.
The natural diet of many native parrots is not fully understood, and records are scarce. Parrots are extremely adaptable and many species have been observed feeding on novel, non-native foods, especially in urban areas.
This project aims to collect feeding observations of wild parrots, including the species on which they are feeding. We will accept photos and videos of feeding parrots.
We are only after observations of parrots feeding, so if your parrot was just having a snooze in a tree with no evidence of feeding, please don't add it to the project.
Please note: If you add your observations to this project and have sharing permissions turned on, I might share your photo and observation on the Hungry Parrots social media accounts, with appropriate credit.
