WILDFLOWER WALK SATURDAY AUGUST 20

Members of the Indian Trail Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist Program will be leading a Wildflower Walk on Saturday, August 20, 2016
At Mockingbird Nature Park
1361 Onward Road (off Mockingbird Lane), Midlothian TX

Our walk starts at 9:00 am at the Butterfly Garden. Yes, it's hot, but there is always something blooming, and birds, butterflies, and other insects to see, too. Bring your camera!

Please join us on this ½ mile stroll along the trails as we identify the wildflowers. Everyone is invited to attend, and there is no charge.

It will be HOT, so be sure to bring drinking water and it's always a good idea to wear a hat and close-toed shoes along the trails.

Walk will be canceled in the event of rain (ha ha, rain in August!)

Rain in August is cool! Forecast for Saturday is a 50% chance of rain. We'll wait until Saturday morning to see if it does, and then whether or not the walk will be canceled.
