THE EARTHWORM
The Common Earthworm forms very deep burrows and comes up to eat dead leaves.
They pull leaves right by their burrows and then they eat the leaves later on.
The common Earthworm can live up to 6 years in captivity.
Earthworms are both male and female, so once each have mated, they both lay egg cocoons. The cocoons are hardened shells that have 1 to 2 baby earthworms hatch out of them.
