Hi - I'm Paul Cook and a microbiologist by profession. I've been interested in Natural History since my childhood in East Kent - initially Lepidoptera and flowering plants and later other insect groups and fungi. I'm particuarly keen on intensive recording of a few sites to build up a detailed picture of the biodiversity present including spatial distribution and phenology. Much of my recording is in Ham & Petersham, Richmond upon Thames, Surrey, UK but I also record elsewhere including East Kent.
