I love sand dunes, deserts, and the alpine. I'm from Taiwan, but the Western US has been home for over a decade. My research interests outside of plant systematics and deep diving into specific plant groups are in botanical conservation, rare plants, edaphic endemisim, and socio-environmental justice around natural resource usage and land management decisions that compromise biodiveristy.

I'm especially fond of the plants of Esmeralda County, Nevada, and the Silver Peak Range. Ask me about joining our rouge plant club.
