My wife and I lived among the jungle tribes of Ecuador and Peru for 35+ years. I have coordinated with The Vivarium in Quito in the identification of the herpetofauna in our area for over 25 years, photographing 5,200+ snakes from 80+ species. My friend in the picture is a 10 1/2' (320 cm) Mussurana (Clelia clelia clelia).
