I have a Fil. Dr. degree and is associated professor (docent) in zoology at University of Gothenburg, Sweden. From 1978 and onward, did i teach paleontology, zoology, marine biology, ecology, scientific illustration etc. Since 1995 have I been employed at University of Aarhus, Denmark, where I have been Head of the Department of Marine Ecology for some periods, as well as teacher and director of "The International M.Sc. & Ph.D. Programme in Marine Sciences" with activities in SE Asia. I am an emeritus since autumn 2021. I have also a university diploma in informatics and librarianship.
My research focus is Foraminifera (Protista) but as a university teacher I have been involved in various other areas.
