I hold degrees in education and zoology and have strong interest in the fields of entomology and herpetology. I maintain captive groups of the introduced (from Australia in the 1870's) Southern Bell frog (Litoria raniformis), and the Green and Golden Bell frog (Litoria aurea). I have also had opportunity to work with NZ native frogs in the university environment.
