Recently, I've been backlogged on IDs in the regions where I normally ID. Please bear with me! You can @ me if there is anything you want me to identify.

Hello! I'm a 14-year-old amateur naturalist based in northern Rhode Island. I can often be found procrastinating here. Despite, all my reptile and amphibian identifications, I rarely find any myself. I identify many of the observations in RI.

My forte is reptiles (especially snakes), though I’m also good with amphibians and isopods. I also occasionally ID birds, plants, insects, fish, and other animals. Recently, I've been getting more into mycology, so I've been trying to identify some fungi observations. I ID a lot of observations in my home state of Rhode Island. I mainly identify North American wildlife and sealife, especially in the New England region and the eastern US. Currently, I'm trying to ID herps in countries such as Costa Rica, Australia, and the Bahamas, the Turks and Caicos Islands, and Europe using field guides. If there are any mistakes, please inform me!

I often ID certain taxa such as Taricha, Deirochelyinae, and Plestiodon to the genus/subfamily level. However, this doesn’t mean that it cannot be IDed past that. I’m still learning certain taxons, so please bear with me.

Feel free to tag me to ID your reptile observations and I’ll try my best. If you feel that my IDs are wrong (which may happen on occasion, especially with turtles and southeastern salamanders), please add a comment to the ID or send me a message.
