I am a multispecies angler from southeastern Michigan. I enjoy fishing in different places and seeing what I can catch, and I use inaturalist to keep track of those fish (unless I am catching a million bluegill or pinfish and I am tired of taking a picture of all of them). I enjoy catching as many species as I can though I also chase michigan master angler fish too.

I am mostly a fish person but I am also interested in birds, dragonflies, and damselflies. most of my identifications are Groupers, Mullets, Snappers, Grunts, Sunfishes, Porgies, Jacks, Seatrout, and Mackerels. Please feel free to tag me if you need a fish ID.

I really like fishing with lures because it feels extra rewarding to land a fish without bait. some of my favorites are spinners, jerkbaits, shrimp jigs, pompano jigs, curly tail grubs, twitchbaits and poppers.

Check out some of my guides to identifying confusing fish!
