Entomology student (Laval University) from France but currently living in Quebec city, Quebec, Canada.

Graduated in microbiology/virology, I am doing a professional reconversion in entomology.

I am finishing a MSc with both Laval University and the Laurantian Forestry Center concerning the influence of seasonal availability and tree species of freshly cut wood on the early response of saproxylic insects (Coleoptera and Hymenoptera). I was member of few associations in France and Canada. I'm currently member of the Société d'entomologie du Québec (SEQ) since 2018. I worked on inventory projects in France. I'm particularly passionate about beetles taxonomy. My main interests in the Nearctic and Paleartic fauna are : Buprestidae, Carabidae, Cerambycidae, Cetoniidae, Cantharidae and all groups of saproxylic insects. I'm also starting to identify treehoppers (Membracidae).

I do my best to provide accurate identifications, but entomology is life learning process ! I would be more than happy to help and learn from my mistakes.
