Currently I am working toward a masters degree at Brigham Young Univeristy (Provo, UT) in Wildlife and Wildlands Conservation. My research emphasis is on Great Basin Bristlecone Pine forest communities, and in particular, how the species responds to climatic changes over time. Generally, I am interested in conifers of the Great Basin. In the future, I would like to study the relationships between singleleaf pinyon and Utah juniper, with regards to how the canopy cover of the two species varies across P-J forests, and what that could tell us about differences and similarities between them.
