About me

My name is Levi (Homo sapiens). I’m a 8th grader at the Newton school in Strafford VT. My main focus is moths especially moths in the superfamily Bombycoidea. I like light trapping for moths and flint knapping. I'm also interested in mosses, beetles, lichens, ferns, leaf miners, mushrooms and gall making insects. Thank you for helping me identify my photos. Here is a project that shows what insects I get at my light traps.

Identifications

I mostly Id moths, focusing on superfamily Bombycoidea. My knowledge doesn't extend very far beyond superfamily Bombycoidea but I can identify many of the moths that come to light traps around me. I also sometimes ID galls. Feel free to tag me if you need help with a ID.
