hello
I am an embryonic systematist and an experienced identifier of Auchenorrhyncha at the University of Delaware (studying under Dr. Charles Bartlett—@delphax).
I actively moderate true hoppers (excluding cicadas, for now) here and on BugGuide—mostly focused on the United States and Canada.
Part of my work is concerned with acquiring photographs of all described U.S. species of Auchenorrhyncha and slapping them onto the internet. You can see some of those on the account @udel-hoppers (the creatures outside the U.S.). For things within the U.S. see the BugGuide account.
You have my permission to use my images for any non-commercial educational use (including on citizen science sites and boards) as long as you credit me. Otherwise, please contact me.
Additionally, I'm a formless basin. an endless space of things displaced; excavated and moved elsewhere.
My profile picture is a watercolor portrait done by my sister Sullivan.
