I am a science and engineering librarian at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA. I'm not very good at species identification without a field guide in my hand but fortunately it's my job to buy the ones I think we need. I helped organize some events for the Boston area City Nature Challenge in 2017 and 2018 and somehow that made me think I could take on creating the Pioneer Valley City Nature Challenge for 2020! If anyone is interested in promoting it or organizing events for it this April please let me know.
