Hello! My name is Lily and I am a student at the University of Florida. I am currently double majoring in wildlife ecology and conservation as well as microbiology/cell science. I am also pursuing a combined MS degree in wildlife ecology and conservation working with disease of farmed deer. I am a proud member of the Campos Lab and apart of the Cervidae Health Research Initiative (CHeRI). Additionally, I am a member of the UF chapter of WDA (VP), TWS, and the pre-veterinary club.

I also do research with the Wetland and Aquatic Research Center for the U.S. Geological Survey focusing on CWD detection, manatee health, and invasive species biological control. Most of my projects are centered around disease, immunology, or cell biology.

My future plan is to finish my masters at UF, then enroll in a combined DVM/PhD program and specialize in free-ranging wildlife veterinary medicine focusing on wildlife disease. But more importantly, I just want my future career to be in nature and to help conservation efforts!
