I use to live in Big Bend NP. Yes in the park. I was a school teacher so I was surrounded by all sorts of wonderful flora . . . . and fauna. Who knew javelina smelled bad!
Now try to get to the Austin Green Belt or Central Texas State Parks as much as possible.
