Hi, I'm the tortoise assistant on Elandsberg Farms in the Swartland district of the Western Cape, South Africa. I'm heading the Headstart program of the Geometric tortoise (Psammobates geometricus). The program was started in 2012 after a veld fire destroyed a third of the Geometric tortoise's habit on the reserve.
