I am an environmental scientist with a Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management, Bachelor of science (honours) and a PhD in environmental biotechnology from Western Sydney University. My PhD was on stormwater management looking into performance enhancement of raingardens, through substrate amendment.

Professionally I have worked in the environmental sector for over 10 years, working for a range of private and government agencies, in both water and vegetation management.

Currently work for the Marsupial Landscape Management, as their lead ecologist, with my work focusing on ecological restoration works following urban development. I strive to protect, conserve and enhance the biodiversity of our urban systems.

I am capable in plant, aquatic macroinvertebrate and common terrestrial fauna identification.

I am most interested in urban ecology, and how to protect and enhance the biodiversity in our cities, parks, gardens and backyards.
