I'm one of those plant people. I grew up in California's great Central Valley, spent a good amount of time on California's North Coast, a shorter amount of time in the Sacramento area, and now I find myself in Nevada.

Presently working as Seeds of Success Lead Botanist in the Southern Nevada BLM District tracking down large native plant populations to collect locally adapted seed from that will be used for restoration projects in the Mojave desert and research projects across the world. It's been quite the journey to get here and I am so happy to be starting out in the botany field.

A.S. in Environmental Conservation at American River College in Sacramento, CA (2018).
