I have degrees in biology (BS) and applied ecology (MS) and am currently pursuing my Native Plant Master certificate through Colorado State University Extension.

I work as a science and technical writer. In my spare time, I like to hike and photograph the species I encounter along the way. When not exploring nature, I enjoy reading about natural history, evolutionary biology, and taxonomy.
