M.S. in Botany from SIU and did undergrad at La Tech. I worked in the environmental field, and as a Natural Heritage Program botanist. A lifelong plant lover and gardener, I'm also interested in butterflies, moths, gall wasps, and most other insects. I am an experienced high school chemistry and biology teacher.
