I'm a biologist from Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador) and I have a master's degree in Tropical Ecology and Conservation. I'm really interested in montane cloud forest plants. My research is primarily based in taxonomy of Alstroemeriaceae and Orchidaceae, but I want to expand it towards other poorly known families, as well as try on ecological research and plant conservation.

Favorite groups: Bomarea (Alstroemeriaceae), Porroglossum (Orchidaceae), Renealmia (Zingiberaceae), Centropogon and Burmeistera (Campanulaceae), and the families Ericaceae, Gesneriaceae and Balanophoraceae.
