I went for a nature walk around the reservoir and the pine tree preserve. It was a sunny morning and there were few clouds in the sky. I was able to find a plant in each of the four main groups as shown in my observations. The only flowering plants I could find were on BC's campus, rather then at the reservoir. I was able to find a wide variety of plants on my walk and it was interesting to see the different diversity in the area.

I went to the Chestnut Hill Reservoir for my nature walk. I went for a pretty long walk and enjoyed the nice sunny Sunday weather. It was relatively warm and there were few clouds in the sky. I had some trouble finding fungi as I only found one. However I found a lot of different lichen which I submitted. Overall it was interesting to look for fungi and lichen as it is not usually something I pay a lot of attention to. The most common areas to find them were on trees as well as rocks. The fungi that I found was very interesting looking as it was bright yellow and quite large.

I did my nature walk around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. The weather was slightly breezy and cloudy. I decided to look for birds and found a handful of species at the reservoir. I used my digital camera to take picture which allowed me to take good quality pictures. Most of the birds that I saw were in or around the water.
