Heard the red-winged blackbirds and robins singing this morning. Feels like the first day of school.

Carolina Wrens are like crickets . . . very easy to hear, very difficult to photograph . . .

I just realized my camera didn't adjust for the end of DST. My observation timestamps are ahead of my upload timestamps. I have been posting into the future.

Need sunnier days soon.

Today I discovered that there is an entire section dedicated to the Passaic Basin Freshwater Wetlands in New Jersey, the main area I like to explore.
