Washed up

Going to the beach often means finding the remains of some unlucky sea creature that was in water too shallow. In this case, I was doing a shorebird count for Audubon New York when I found the front part of a Horseshoe Crab (Limulus polyphemus). Where the telson ended up is currently unknown...
