Searched the foothills at Menaul and the water tank, no sign of adult or tadpoles, no dimples, nothing! Is the season all finished then? Still plenty on the roadside at Broadway. Monsoon is continuing full blast. the insects are hatching all over the place.

The night temperature is getting cold, but there is still YOY frogs around. some are still mobile, all are kind of lethargic in the cold. Dragonfly nymphs are all climbing out and developing their wings. Still plenty of water in the small ponds. rescued some tadpoles from the big pond. Even for them, five days wasn't enough time to metamorph.
