I'm new to microbat ID and just wanted to see if anyone could confirm or correct my ID's :)) Let me know if you need any more info. This one may not he long enough to ID properly.
Flying fox roosting area along walking trail. Some rainfall two hours prior to observation. Creak area with mangroves. Many small insects present.

Wild bat found dehydrated on the Perth Zoo site (not captive). Admitted to vet for assessment and with a licensed carer who confirmed ID as holt's long-eared bat (used to be Gould's long-eared bat, but now recognised as separate new species Holt's long eared bat in WA)
Baby found on the ground near the house.I put it in a shallow box on a table in the garden. As it was cold I used a wine bladder of warm water to keep him warm. After about an hour mum came and picked him up.
