Notes It's in this region of Wegrzynowicz' 2002 key to Erotylidae, and - although Plagiopisthen isn't separable from Apetus based on these pictures using that key, the same character that separates Apetus from Megalodacne in Wegrzynowicz (rounded final antennal segment) is one of those used to separate Apetus from Plagiopisthen in Delkescamps' description of A. quinquiefasciatus.
Other notes from iNat: In dried-up reservoir at edge of fire-ravaged orchard. As a side note, please don't use fire to control snakes. Fire kills many, many more people than snakes do every year, even in areas where venomous snakes are prevalent. And it will p*** off your neighbours.
