Fem eider in nest. Didn’t flush her.
Black tips on wing, flock of around 20-30 individuals making singular cheeps, didn't get to see them land before the flock flied away. If you zoom into the picture you can see the wing markings
I know these are really tough pictures so any advice is appreciated! Decent sized flock of birds that flushed out of a grassy area near the beach. I'm wondering about Snow Bunting potentially? It was my first impression in the field, and I noticed that the dark tips of the wings on some birds and paler on others could be a difference between males and females. I could be completely off the mark though
