This is the second record of this species at this location. Highly invasive aquatic plant, occurring in small creek that leads to Sacramento River. Likely to be moved into river during next flood. Collected genetic sample to compare with Madeira eta al. 2022
Occurring in a small pool that is temporarily cut off from the Sacramento River. Only 5 or so plants but there may be more individuals farther down the creek. Also found Pistia stratiodies at the site. Both species are highly invasive and I was surprised to see them this far north.
