Several specimens still horizontal on a 3m rotting length of Paper Birch remaining upright. One other (unpictured) specimen was much larger, but had fallen (become vertical) to the ground along with a formerly-higher length of the same birch tree.
I believe this family but.. I don’t recognize it as a honeysuckle because the old bark is still very smooth
Very large shrub, very large opposite buds, occasional red orange fruits still remnant on the stems
