Small tree or shrub to 3 m high at the edge of the Rapid Creek Mangrove and service access track. Leaves about 5 cm long x 3 cm wide, flower 2 mm long with 4 petals, photos show stages of fruit which are about 8 mm long. The common name Yam-stick Mangrove refers to Aboriginal use of the wood as digging tool.
