No idea what animal this is. It wasn't moving. Followed the sound until I reached a wooden support in a vineyard; the source sat somewhere in the grass. Couldn't locate it, and with me approaching, the animal decided it was better to shut up.
Recorded with BirdNET (unprocessed, 10 dB gain) at approx. 10m from the animal.
Assume it's some Orthopteran, not some frog.
PS: About half an hour later I heard another one, in a different location, in a meadow. I must have been leaning right above it, but even with a torch I couldn't find a suitable candidate, just slugs and snails.
