There were at least of 6 of them this day on an overlook across from Summitville Mine. Set up the GoPro since they were curious and approaching me, and got this great photo and video when they were messing with the camera. One of the my favorite critter encounters in two years of traveling.

Chelydra serpentina or the common snapping turtle is a freshwater organism that spend a lot of time under water. But they do spend sometimes on land when basking. This photo was taken at my Tito's property, he owns a lot of turtles and tortoises at this state his sulacata tortoise and snapping turtle got a clean wash from stack dirt for the sulcata and grown algae on the carapace of the snapping turtle.

Common Leopard Gecko ( Eublepharis macularius ) is not like the other geckos that can manage to do things above the ground. Leopard gecko are terrestrial and crepuscular dwelling not nocturnal. They can manage to store fats in their tails in times they can't eat like shedding period as they use their stored fat in the tail as their nutrients. Leopard gecko comes with many morph. This leopard gecko is a Mack snow morph a 7 month old and ready to be inside his enclosure from taking his warm luke water bath. This photo was taken inside our house.

The Philippine Pit viper ( Trimeresurus flavomaculatus ) is a very venomous endemic snake in the captivity of the Philippines and its venom is called hemotoxin which kills red blood cells and damage the circulatory system and some muscle tissues, this photo was taken last year at Zamboangita to rescue this endemic species and release it to the nearest forest. The pit viper was sleeping on top of the trailer plug socket. We ask the caller what time did they saw the viper and he replied it was in the morning at 10 am so we noticed that the pit viper was taking a long bask.

The Southeast asian tarantula ( Ornithoctoninae sp. Are known as Earth tiger tarantulas they are old world tarantula's so they are very venomous, fast, less hairs and gives you a threatening pose when it felt danger, this photo was taken during my visit on my partner at mindanao cagayan de oro as he introduced his female earth tiger tarantula crawling at his hands.

This is the Paradise Flying Snake ( Chrysopelea paradisi ) The Genus Chrysopelea are known as gliding snakes which jump from the tree gliding to it's prefer destination. They use it also to ambush its prey. This photo was taken Oct, 2020 while we were releasing juvenile reticulated python near the river and we engage a young juvenile male Paradisi catch a Tree skink as it's meal.
