Herb on rocky outcrop on Catalina. Linear opposite leaves. Leaves, stems, sepals are pubescent. 5 separate petals, 5 separate sepals, 10 stamens.
Sandy soil. Sympatric with Cryptantha. There appears to be a Chylismia claviformis in the background of picture #3.
Adjacent to off ramp. Sympatric with creosote, fiddlenecks, Brassica, and Eriogonum. Gravelly, sandy substrate.
Rocky, gravelly substrate. Scorpioid cyme inflorescence. Hirsute vestiture.
