Egg appears to be laid on mid vein of leaf. The initial tunnel is straight but then forms red concentric near circles. Apparently as larva matures a dark area forms out of which the shield is cut.
A couple of days before the shield is cut out a transparent window appears and the larvae can be clearly seen. See images 10-14
Wasp emerged 4 Sept 2023 (image 15-17) from the leaf, egress hole in image 18(dorsal),19(ventral with emergence hole).
Image 20, 21 shows semi transparent area of mine with visible larvae. Image 22 and 23 is the larvae excavated from these mines.
