Large fruiting body, approx. 9 cm tall and 12 cm across the pileus. The stipe is thick, 2 cm in diameter with glandular dots, scabers and hollow. Has a think fibrillose ring present. The cap reddish brown with gold scars and a rugulose texture. The pores are large, angular and gold color and leaves a olive brown spore print.
