Sitting at the base of granite outcrop (rocky outcrop 1)

This and the following shells were all found at a different rocky outcrop (rocky outcrop 2) to the previous one where the alive & deceased B. kendricki specimens were found. I suspect all were predated by a Quenda, rat or possibly quoll, due to the location of damage on the shell and because many had intact epiphragms

The number and location of the shells, the location of shell damage and number of retained epiphragm suggest this was a predation event, probably by a Quenda, rat or possibly quoll
