Eucalyptus tricarpa non-dominant tree along the Island Track, Brisbane Ranges, Victoria. May 2021.
No evidence of buds, flowers or fruit. A secondary tree in a Eucalyptus goniocalyx subsp. laxa dominated woodland. These trees were larger than the E. goniocalyx present. Rough bark extending up the whole trunk and branches.

Buds and Flowers of Red Ironbark or Mugga Ironbark (Eucalyptus tricarpa subsp. tricarpa) growing in rocky soil on steep slope along the Wadawurrong Walk from the Stony Creek Picnic site in the Brisbane Ranges National Park, Victoria, Australia. Photographed on 12 April 2015.
