Could someone with knowledge please let me know if this hen’s beak is broken? She was observed with her mate, eating on land apparently without difficulty. Thank you.
The first 5 photos are of the family of hawks when first observed. The 3 off-spring are already a fair size. Both parents are in the nest in the first photo. Photo 6 shows one of the parents bringing food. The remaining photos (6 to 11) are taken 1 week later, and it would seem the nest is very crowded now. I am thinking that it is just about time to fledge.

This Obs is for the male on the left. When a Canada Goose got too close, the male arched his wings and swam right at the goose sending it in flight as indicated by the big splash in last photo. It did not bother with the Mallards that were also in close proximity.
