Larva. Same pool as previous observation. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/156584662 Interspersed in small, woodland vernal pool. A. maculatum egg masses developing. No fairy shrimp observed as previously. Same with wood frog larvae. 45* F ambient.
Small individual, found under a small log near water. Notophthalmus found in the directly surrounding area but not other Ambystoma. Did find another A. laterale further away but within the same woods.
Small individual. Tail tip regrown, left forelimb missing and healed over. Mandible appeared slightly lopsided. Found under a large log near water. No other salamanders found in directly adjacent terrestrial area. Another Ambystoma laterale found further away in the same woods. Plethodon cinereus and Notophthalmus also present in area.
