The droopy eye juvenile still around together with the unknown owl. Observed a vocal interaction between the unknown owl honking with the adult female hooting in response. The droopy eye owl seems disinclined to go hunting while the unknown owl proceeds with hunting soon after sunset.

This loud female Great horned owl was calling from the south of me, then at the end of this recording, or after, called from the north. I usually hear one female calling loudly before dawn or around sunset.
