The small frog wasn't huge, or extremely tiny, it was just the right size. The hind legs were seen under the water, and the coloration on the back was brown/green, with several darker blotches among lighter skin. It hopped around in the Riparian Forest.
The tadpole was cruising in the slow-moving waters of the pool within the stream, "hovering" above the leaf with little effort. Adults were nearby, therefore I can verify this is the right species. Numerous tadpoles of great size were present, meaning those crawfish and bullfrogs aren't touching them there, a hope in this Riparian Forest.
Discovered floating in a plant pot bottom. The picture was when it was waterlogged and not moving. About a day later it was like nothing had ever happened to it. Quite incredible.
