On birch

This small leaf hopper ( < 5mm ) was attracted to a UV light station set up in a lightly wooded suburban neighborhood with Longleaf Pine (P. Palustris) and mixed hardwoods as the dominant trees.

I’m thinking Homalodisca vitripennis based on seen color of back (wings?) and the fact that H, icthy is only in Mexico area iirc. However ever I’m more often mistaken than not so - all yours.
