Experts - What is going on here? This male American Kestrel sure did seem to have the hots for this female Merlin. He kept trying to get close to her and even brought her a few treats (insects?) from the grass beneath the fence. She accepted the treats but didn't seem thrilled with the attention. However, when he flew off, she followed him...

We were extremely lucky to find a female Black Rhino with a 5 or 6 year old calf. A number of heavily armed Rangers patrol the national park in an effort to keep poachers away from these animals to keep them from going extinct. We watched this pair for 15-20 minutes before they disappeared in the bush.

The story behind this bird is that this is supposed to be a genuine wild bird. In the village lives a juvenile bird that was captured. Apparently it attracted this adult bird. During our stay, the adult only came into the village once. It was not afraid though.
Albino!!!!! Rescued from my parents’ swimming pool.
This was posted from a friend. She's not sure what type of bird this is.
