Basking on grasses at east end of pond. Dorsolateral folds clearly seen. Small patch of yellow also seen on hind legs but not visible in photo.

4 juveniles in evergreen pear, ID’ed by high-pitched calls and brown plumage. Flew to live oak to the west after 1 min. Exact nest site unknown but plenty of suitable trees in the area.
