In the excitement of getting a herp lifer I was a fool and didn't get a photo before trying to grab the critter. It escaped my grasp and dove into the underbrush. I'm so sad. But supposedly field sketches are allowed so here's mine.

This guy was living in the Dog Canyon campground. I saw it several different times, once even on the wooden fencing around the trail. There were also tracks on the trash cans, haha.
